Jennifer Allen, DPT

TN-6498, NPI-1588680490

Dr. Allen graduated , in the top of her class, with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Belmont University in 2001.  Prior to that she had earned her Bachelors in Equine Instruction and Biology from Midway College.  Her Equine accomplishments include showing on the Intercollegiate Riding Team and Horse Judging Team, earning her Pony Club C-3 rating, becoming a licensed Camp Horsemanship Association riding instructor, and studying at Bishop Burton College's Equine Department in England.  Since that time, Dr. Allen has worked to establish a premier specialty rehabilitation clinic in Tennessee.  Her Certifications and Professional Affiliations include the following: Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist (HPCS)2005-2019, MOVE practitioner, Intensive/Therasuit certified therapist, Kinesiotaping practitioner, APTA Clinical Instructor, American Hippotherapy Association (AHA) Regional Liaison2005-2007, AHA state and national speaker, and member AHA, PATH, APTA, TPTA.  On a personal level, Dr. Allen became a Christian when her 6th grade teacher led her to Christ.  She loves animals, especially horses and dogs.  She also likes good food, definitely a guormadizer and a dessert fiend.  That's the reason that she loves to go for runs and participates in 2-3 marathons a year.  Movies and audiobooks are another passion of hers.  Her favorite color is blue.  Her favorite radio station is Way FM.  Her favorite dessert is any.  Her most thrilling moment at Full Circle was when one of her clients was able to play tag with her friends at school by walking in her gait trainer.  She considers Full Circle to be her mission field, definitely not just a job.  Finally, she would like to just say Thank You for inviting her into your family to serve you.
